Gonna be fun...

Well yesterday my check engine light came on in my car again! After putting in two oxygen sensors in the same spot to try and fix the code my car spits out, about $600 for that. My Nissan dealer told me that if the light came back on that it was the computer that the sensor plugs into that was causing the problem. So now I need to set up an appointment with Nissan to get the computer put in which in total for the part and labor may be over $1000. My insurance money won't be put towards insurance this year. In fact my father might have to help me out a little bit because I do not know if I have enough saved in my insurance. Oh well that's why I want a classic muscle car like a GTO, Chevelle, or a Thunderbird. They don't have all of these computers to go wrong in the engine. Today though I have an in class essay for English 102 and then I am meeting my friend Chelsey to spend the day with her and go to her boyfriend's baseball game. Wish I could be playing baseball but work and school prevent that. I also took a walk through the berry field behind my house the other day and took some pictures which I should have up later today.

I think some ballads are in order to set off the day on a good foot. =)

slow day

well today is going to be slow since i don't have to go to work until 1pm. so i am using my time to teach myself some nightwish songs. =) then when noon comes around i will watch what little bit of the daytona 500 i can and hopefully find something to help with my throat cause it is really irritating today for some reason. hope all who see this have a great day.

discovering guitar sounds

I was watching videos of Testament on youtube so I decided to look up lessons by Alex Skolnick, one of the guitarists for Testament and Trans Siberian Orchestra, and I found a video of him playing a jazz version of Metallica's "Fade to Black". It is very graceful which is surprising in a way because Metallica is a distant deviant of jazz in a way with some of their openings. Alex however made it even more graceful. It's funny how someone can make a guitar take so many sounds. Such as Emmpu of Nightwish. In the new album Imaginearum he not only plays the metallic guitar sound but also plays the soft subtle acoustic, and the graceful jazz. Then there is the twang of country guitar which also pits my interest because many of the guitars in country are actually tuned in D; the only difference is they do not contain as much or any distortion which gives them their twnagy noise. I've been experimenting with each lately and it's fun. I can see why guitarists who play one genre such as metal would want to deviate from their norm.

Valentine's

valentine's day has never meant much to me. to me it seems like every other day, but who am i to say it makes other people happy, and now with all of my aggression taken out from earlier today by teaching myself some slipknot i am more relaxed and can enjoy the last couple hours left of this strange day of love and in some cases deceit and pain. mostly the love part though. =)

with that said here are some nice songs for everyone to enjoy with their respected loved ones. =)

CRAZY MESSED UP DAY

hello,
today i went into f.y.e at my mall and was looking for brother firetribe to see if i couldn't find the album that features anette olzon. however, like every time i go in there they don't have any good european metal that i find on youtube. i did find something that i didn't expect though. first i found a cd of disturbed b sides and rare tracks, and then i found marco hietala's band tarot. i was surprised to find it since they didn't have brother firetribe or my back up disarmonia mundi.
then when i got back to my college to run with my friend she told me something, that i won't repeat, about what happened to her the night before. to put in short terms it mad me want to kill they person who did it. i am a fairly easy going person, and it usually takes a lot to push me over the edge. so you can see how serious it was for me to wish death upon another person. anyway we cut our usual routine short cause i could see she was being extremely bothered about what happened.




so that was my day and here are some songs that show how i feel about today..... just a warning if you have small children around don't let them hear these songs cause they are pretty vulgar

baseball

Hello all,
I was playing basketball at my college today with my friend Chelsey and I realized something I need to play baseball again. I saw a couple of the players throwing in the gym practicing their pitching formations and pitches, and it made me want to get my glove and throw around. I miss it so much especially since I have played it every year of my life since I was about 4 years old. My two years at college so far are the only two years I haven't played it. Plus I won't be able to coach my old high school's baseball team this year because of my car payments. ='( Hopefully though next year I will be able to because I should graduate next winter and that will leave my spring and summer free for baseball. I also can't wait for the new MLB The Show 12 to come out which features full playstation move controls for all positions, not just for the home run derby like in 11.

Interesting Day

Hello, to who ever sees this lol.
I decided today to start working out again with my UFC Trainer for my PS3 and my core and legs are killing me. It will be fun trying to get out of bed tomorrow for my English 102 class. Also my Intro to Design teacher finally allowed me to use what I had drawn, but I modified it for my project, which I am still drawing, and will hopefully have it up soon.
